bout our Presenter

Harris Kravatz is a user interface design and usability consultant, with 20 years of experience in the field. Harris works with clients to improve profits and productivity of their software and websites. His clients include American Express, Carnival Cruise Lines, IBM, MBNA, Motorola, University of Minnesota and Visa.

Harris began his career at IBM, where his positions included Software Development Manager and UI Architect, and was instrumental in the design of IBM's OS/2 User Interface. Harris is currently the senior member of Oracle's User Experience group. Harris has written articles on web design and usability, and spoken on design and usability at industry conferences, including the Usability Professional's Association (UPA), Society for Technical Communications (STC), and Association of Internet Professionals. Harris holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer and Information Sciences from the University of Florida.
