of Excellence in this year's STC Newsletter
Competition. Thanks, Dave Eicher, our editor
last year, and his dedicated staff for all your
hard work. It shows.
- This
just in: your East Bay chapter has won the Award
of Excellence for 2007-2008 in the STC Community
Achievement Award Competition. The citation
reads: "For ongoing improvement in activities
and programs offered to your members; for conducting
outstanding literacy projects; and for continuing
interaction with the academic community."
Thanks, Helen Cheung, Gwaltney Mountford, and
Joe Humbert, for putting together the application.
Helen will pick up the Award in Philadelphia
at the Annual Conference.
